Storyboarding
Storyboarding are visual organiser in the form of illustrations or images displayed in the sequence for the purpose of pre-visualising a video, film, animation or interactive media sequence.
For the use of Video
A storyboard for the video production is essentially a large comic of the film beforehand to help the directors, cinematographers, DOP and television commercial advertising clients. Storyboard is made to find the potential problems before they occur.
In creating a picture or a film with any degree cause to a script, a storyboard provides a visual layouts of events as they are to be seen through the camera lens. And in the case of interactive media, it is the layout and sequence in which the user sees the content or information.
In the storyboarding process, most technical detail involved in crafting a film or interactive media project can be efficiently and easily describe either in picture, or in addition text.
Storyboarding - 21st century
Many live action film directors nowadays uses storyboard extensively beforehand of making the film and also before going to the producers, it helps them to figure what they are looking for since they can show exactly where the money will be used.
Not just 21st century but in the old times, Alfred Hitchcock's films were strongly believed to have extensive storyboarding.
